When adding a shop logo, we downscale your image to a maximum height of around 150px. Depending on your logo style and the device your customers are viewing your shop from - you may opt for a more narrow or taller aspect ratio.

It can be a good idea to opt for an image that can scale down uniformly to a height of 150px. This may allow you to improve image clarity for image hosts that perform a lot of compression on your images.

As a starting point, try the following resolutions for self-hosted or non-compressed images;

  • 300x150

  • 400x150

  • 150x150

  • 300x300

If your image host compresses images or the image isn't as clear as you'd like, try to multiply the resolution by 2x or even 3x and see if that helps.

For example;

  • 600x300

  • 800x300

  • 900x450

Using image heights that aren't divisible by 150px may in some instances cause image warping. Though, we still encourage playing around with sizes to see what works.

If you're having any trouble finding the right size, please do not hesitate to shoot us a message and we'll try to figure it out together. 👍
